I installed a gutter and downspout on our run! That equals less work for me and a drier run for our birds!

In my state you can collect what hits the roofs of your buildings and nothing else.

It's because they need the rain to become ground water, to prevent droughts. If people collected rain off their roofs then less would go into the ground. Not that I blame people for wanting to collect water, I'm just saying, that's why
