what makes a golden comet?

can a white rock hen and a rir make a golden comet or a white leghorn and a rir?

The breed shouldn't matter when it comes to sexlinks. Only the color of the breeding stock.

If the white rock hen has the Silver factor then yes she can be used with the RIR rooster. Not sure how to tell if she does or not, or if all White Rocks are suppose to have it. I guess you can do a trial and error thing.
