What makes a show quality Silkie?

The crest, the walnut comb, the dark skin, the fifth toe, and the feathered legs are all defining features of the breed. Any bird that does not have all those traits would be instantly disqualified. Muffed and bearded birds are prefered and do better in shows than clean faced birds. There are also more subtle features like size, shape, and coloring that a bird must also conform to, to be show quality.
