What makes chickens such great pets?

When my friend asked me why I have chickens as pets, it got me thinking. Why are chickens such great pets? I would say what makes chickens great is their personality. Each bird has a different personality. They are also so useful. I mean what other pet can lay breakfast? I just wanted to find out why other people think chickens are such great pets?

Chickens have more personality than most people know! If one spends enough time with them on their level, they are very interactive with people. They love attention, plus I love anything with feathers.
