What makes you happy?

The sound of genuine laughter. I don't even need to know what's so funny. Hearing people laugh makes me smile.

Amusement Park rides. That feeling of euphoria, though temporary, is the best feeling in the world, IMO.

Second favorite would be spending time with my animals/family. Then friends.

Wow, lot's of things but mostly the simple things. Just being with my family is number one. Being in the barn with my critters is a big one. Standing out there on a winter night just listening to everyone settle in, the quiet munching of hay, the chickens making their little noises. At the same time looking up toward the house, seeing the lights in the windows and knowing my family is safe and sound in there. Ok, now I'm being a sap, but, those are the things that make me happy!

What makes me happy is my life here in the country, where life is simple, and my kids enjoy every minute of living on the farm. Watching my husband play with the kids and seeing him smile.

Being inside or outside with my animals. I quite often get an overpowering sense of peace when I am watching chickens in the yard, or petting my purring cat who curled up with me.

Being with my partner. Nothing has ever made me as happy as he does.

Special eggs in the incubator.

Feeling the baby move inside me
Hugs and kisses from the kids
Spending time with loved ones
Sitting on the porch in perfect weather
Camp fires
I could go on and on ....

My husband and furkids smiles when he gets home from a hard day. They all run to him, even if he's had the worst day, all the purrs, barks, licks and snuggles makes it worth it.

The happiest? That Jesus died to save me and set me free. As a result of that, I can be happy about many things....one of which is the fact that this Earth is not my home!
