What members are most experienced with chickens

You need an IR thermometer! It will save you and them the hassle of being poked in the rear. Just point and shoot, very accurate reading and you can measure any part of the bird. I do my chicks to make sure nobody is roasting or freezing when they aren't super mobile the first day out. Also it is an awesome tool to weed out dead eggs in the incubator.:)
I seem to be taking temperatures all the time :)
 
Back to the original question: Just what do the badges mean? I have been on here for years, and have seen mine change over time... but never quite sure why. Obviously "peepers" is a new chick... but what is the oder of the others? where do you find the list?

A 'badge' is 'Friend' or 'Educator' or 'Spirit', etc.
Members can make recommendations/nominations, but staff decides who gets awarded.

The 'peepers', 'crowing', 'free ranging' are called 'titles' and based on post count...I think...all kinda silly IMO. I think they just changed them all:
