What mix is this?!?! Chicken masters i NEED HELP!!!

Take away the extra toes and I have 3 or 4 exactly like him in my flock of juvies right now! They are beautiful.
So, mine are mostly out of Black Giants that look this way. One I am sure is fathered by my GP Hamburg roo.
That being said, I have White Giant mated with a Black Giant roo that produced Black and Brown chicks.
I would agree Dorking since there is the 5th toe, and that comb is pretty well progressed too. Maybe a White Dorking with a Black Australorp? I think he is pretty good sized from comparing him to his surroundings. How old? About 3-4 months? He doesn't look very mature yet, maybe in another 2 months he will be.
I would find out where the chicks came from and if they are from a large hatchery, look them up and find out what breeds they have there.

Good luck.

as a newborn chick, he looked exaclty like a black sex link! Due to the red feathers, maybe dorking-rhode island red? (im just throwing out ideas!) but then, where would his black come from???

Here is one who was out of a Welsummer egg, so I am thinking he is Welsummer X Black Jersey Giant. He is HUGE.

I will have to get some pictures of the others that have the same breast markings as yours. They tend to stay at the back of the pen and don't like to be photographed

I think that there was something with Gold on its chest as one of the parents to have that color you have. I don't think it could be RIR, but I can't be sure.
It is hard enough when you know who the parents could be and you get crosses, but when you get crosses from somewhere that you have no idea what the parents could be, you are just left guessing. It can be a fun game to try figuring it out, but it can also be very frustrating. I will try to get more pics to you later.

Unlikely, but I guess it depends on if they get their chicks from large hatcheries or from smaller breeders locally.

A black sex link is created by using a red or maybe black male with a barred female. All of the male chicks will be black with a white spot on their head and will grow in to a barred roo. The girls will be black as chicks and be black with varying degrees of red on the neck and body as a hen. A large hatchery shouldn't be retaining any sex-link parents for breeding since they are a hybrid and won't breed true ( you can read up on sex links here: http://www.ldspreppers.com/showthre...nformation?s=da4a67c3968d790d6079f0636895f103 )

Why not cut out the middle man ("AZ Prepper") and post the link to the creator of that post tadkerson and he here on BYC and the Real Post is here https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=261208 and can also be found in Index - Breeds, Genetics, & Showing - Notable Reference & Breed Thread Discussions - Sex- linked Information

Depends on who is doing the breeding. I have very nice Black sex-links out of a Dark Brown Leghorn rooster over a Dominique hen.

I believe that you are much more experienced than I, and since the OP is asking for advice from chicken masters (which I am not nor do I play one on TV), do you have any ideas for the for the OP on the mix of his Roo?

Since the OP got the bird from TSC I would say that the bird is from Mt. Healthy Hatchery, Now Mt. Healthy was selling some Australorp crosses to TSC and I would be willing to be that that is one of the Australorp crosses that TSC was selling.

Now I also agree that the the other breed in this cross was most likely a Dorking BUT the Dorking was not pure.
If the Dorking was pure the leg color of its Male offspring would be White.
