If they use chicken wire AND electric fence, likely no problem. That's what I have done and the electric fence has always stopped them cold after the loud animalistic scream that issues forth after contact. They don't come back after a couple of hits has been my experience to date.

HI were we ae we have no problems with foxes etc. Plus my female golden is laways on look out during the night my female golden retriever never sleeps much and if she is she is a light sleeper.
The tree in the photo is a blood orange a citris tree. We don't get snow/ice here in victoria australia so i'm fine on that.
