glaad to hear SOMEONES neighbors are actually "neighborly". Mine didn't even apologize when her dog got two of my flocks.

She owes you a garantee it wont happen again. People can pay for your birds, food , and what you might have produced but they can never pay for what you feel. Dogs on one side of me killed my other neighbors chickens. Neighbor took the dogs home and asked him to fix how they got out. His wife got more chicks and raised them up. Dogs got in and killed them again. She quite raising chickens. Its not the money its the loss of something you really care about.
