The only funny name I have for any of my chickens is Jerry. Thats little Jerry Seinfield he is a black cochin he makes me laugh out loud everytime he waddles around the yard!

Hi! I have Laverne and Shirley, and Farrah (after Farrah Fawcett of course), Then there is Daisy, Lily, Izabow, and Fancy.

They're all pullet age--not a year old but laying now.

I just LOVE em!

I have five birds total. So far I have Rocky the roo, Adrine, and Lola. Still trying to think of a name for my injured chicken who has the tip broken off her beak and a bad eye which is slowly getting better. I was thinking something pirateesk since she holds that eye shut some times. Then there's my other EE who's got a beard and ornery. She still needs a name too.

I have stupid names for my birds. Half of them don't have names either.

My red rooster is named Mr Rooster, Rooster Boy, or Ole Red now that we have a younger BSL cockerel.
His #1 lady is named Queenie, because she's the queen of the flock and queen to Mr Rooster.
The white Leghorn who escaped all the time as a youngster is named Houdini
The white Leghorn who got pecked and got blue Kote on her head is named Blue
The Leghorn is named Cracker, because she always wanted treats from my hand
My most mature BSL pullet is named Penny, because a friend suggested it.

The other BSL pullet, 2 BO pullets, and the BSL cockerel don't have names....coz I suck at naming things so I haven't though of anything yet. I like names with a reason, even if it's dumb like the one who had a blue head for a month.

One of my close friends told me that I should name one of my chicks Rapunzel because she's a Buff Orpington and her feathers will be gold like Rapunzel's hair. I can totally picture myself going out into the yard every day and calling her. "Rapunzel, Rapunzel, here chick chick chickie."

LuLu Peckerpants, a very impatient chicken. If I don't get the food container filled and down fast enough she would "encourage" me to get with the program. In summer there were no pants to grab so she pecked the freckles on my feet.
Sheila Onebauk, a quiet girl who now and then cuts loose with one explosive loud BAUK. I hate it when she walks up behind me when I busy and does that.

Barred rock - Calliope - head hen, talkative and very friendly
Delaware - Olympia - Diva and bullies Chloe, but what a layer!
GLW - Chloe - Sweet, quiet, getting ready to lay

My husband named them and he doesn't even like chickens!
