Wrath's Marans

Yes the 3 are together. The BCMs like to scuffle when out free ranging but Poppy breaks it up. But it's settled down some now that I lock Kong and Kings coop up when they're out so now they run around looking for girls and there is none.
That’s my situation too. My bachelors go out from 7am until around 3pm ish. Then they’ll go in the yard/run, and Gomez and the girls come out of yard/run to free range. It’s amazing how little fighting there is once the hens are out of the picture.

We have a bachelor coop&run and 2 boys in there (we don't need them, we just.. my husband got attached to one and the other is just the 'friend' so my husband's roo isn't lonely)

They are buddies and tidbit each other lololol Roosters are so freakin cute they cannot HELP IT.

It breaks my heart though, every time we go see them they are SO HAPPY TO SEE US and it's not like we don't see them often. But yeah they don't free range.

We were going to let them free range down at the edge of our property, which is acres and acres away from where our girls free range, but I was told that they would ROAM to find the girls.

So was thinking to give Sarge some hens when these pullets grow up and sell George. I don't know.

Rooster problems 🤷‍♀️

That sounds like a solid plan.

I’ve got a broody going into lockdown tonight too lol. Day 18 for her. I had a chat with her this morning, I told her to up her humidity 😄
Also let her know she cannot "lift the lid" so this means she cannot eat, drink, or poop for the next 3 days. And no moving them around either, remind her, no wiggling.
