Couldn't do that if they were all hatching in the same bator, eggs on top of eggs and everything! They'd get squished before they even started!

u have a pic? this I gotta see.
I am in the same boat but wandering how I turn the eggs with soooo many in the bator... I have a hovabator 1602..

It is set and forget for me because I dry hatch. I almost never add water to the incubator. The temp holds perfectly, I've only had to adjust it once and that was when I first got it. The humidity in the incubator usually runs about 30-35%.

In my office it drops below that. I hatch according to the article in PP mag. 35% for the first 16 days, then up to 55% til day 19 and then finish at 65% . If I didn't add water it would drop below 20%.

Still hope things turn out ok.

I've been hatching like this (without adding water) for about a year. Although this is the first time I've ever had this many eggs in it I don't see why it wouldn't work. With so many eggs the humidity will probably be higher than the normal 30-35% that it usually runs.

That is alot of poultry. The different eggs actually look pretty against each other. Hope you get a great hatch and post lots of pictures.

I thought duck eggs had to have a higher humidity? I'm new to hatching duck eggs so if i'm wrong, please let me know. I have several eggs in a separate bator and keep the humidity up around 60 -65% They are developing. I just candled 2 days ago and saw movement.

So if i'm doing something wrong please let me know before it's too late.
