What on earth is laying these tiny eggs?

I have a serama but surely this is too small for even her. I would guess an egg fart but I'm getting one almost every day. I'm showing the ones from today and yesterday next to one of my regular eggs. Any guesses? I wonder if a wild bird is going into my coop and laying these eggs. I thought about putting them in my incubator, but if wild babies hatch, they'll just die.

Is there a way for you to pen up the Serama for a couple of days just to see if she is the one laying them? If she's not the one, then they are probably fart eggs.

I've heard them called "fart eggs"; small little eggs, usually laid without a yolk, and often by pullets as they refine their egg laying techniques. I've only had one, and it was from an Speckled Sussex just starting to lay.

Ok, so I opened them both and there are no yolks. Maybe it's a serama fart egg!

When my girls was just starting to lay, I would get one like that each day but its been a long time now since I have had any of those.

I've gotten two of these teeny eggs when my girls were new to laying. They are cute. I kept them as decoration - one in a nest by a birdhouse and one under a chicken statue decoration. hee hee. There haven't been any more since.
