Oh c'mon now, you know we are all dying to know now!

I guess I could add to mine that I was a bouncer and bartender for a gothic/techno/rivethead club (which was uncommon for a girl) My hair has been everycolor of the spectrum. And I worked in 'one of those' stores, which I don't feel too bad saying as VampABillyPrincess has too LoL

I love to sew and make most of my work clothes. I know how a Chanel haute couture jacket is made because I’ve made one.

Got married at 35, had twins via IVF when I was 38.

By choice we don’t go to church or practice any religion

No cable TV in our house.

I’m a full time working mom; I just started a new job with a nanotechnology company that sells mircofluidizer equipment to pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic companies.

We had wanted to begin our chicken project this year but had to put it off while I looked for a job, now that I have one it's back on track!

I would love learn to how to make cheese!

Making cheese, I too would love to learn how to make that! I used to help make butter when I was much younger and while tiring it was pretty cool

For yrs. I felt 'different' than all the other mothers. Then I found the net with all these wonderful sites about chickens, homesteading etc..

I feel out of place at these 'home parties' (Avon, Home Decor, Pampered Chef)--I just hated them.. I hate dinner parties and cocktail parties. I can't play tennis and have no desire to learn.. I do not find the gym fun..
No other moms (here) are/were beekeepers, love to garden, can build/repair a fence, loves goats, sheep, chickens, love to bake, cook, have lots of kids...etc I always thought my children felt a little embarrassed by me.
But after they went away to college--I found out that they loved me being different! They even bragged on me to the friends and roommates... They would call and ask--mom, how do you make so-n-so?? Or 'can you make us curtains, pillows-help us decorate..etc? Or "Mom, we are the only ones that have fresh tomatoes, herbs, cukes etc on our deck and everyone is jealous.."

I found this, on one of the sites I read and have it hanging on my frig...It is prefect for me:

" My darling, when are you going to realize that being NORMAL is not necessarily a virtue? It rather denotes a lack of courage and imagination! "

So hooligan - I just have to ask you - does butter taste different when it's handmade? I can still remember the first time I ate real mozzarella cheese, and I think if I tasted handmade fresh butter it would be a similarly mind boggling experience!

Yes it does taste different. I hate store bought butter so I just get Country Crock or something but real fresh butter is great.

well, I guess I could list a few, the rest you would have to check myspace to find out!!

fairly tame info about me...
Mother of 2 boys, named Lestat Zandor, and Talisyn LaVey. If there are any fans out there, I did give them both the middle names of one of my favorite people Anton Szandor LaVey!

I am a Buddhist/Pagan/Witch, and anything else I find interesting that I can sprinkle on top.

I am a photographer, specializing in horror pin-ups / fetish / alternative lifestyles

I have a large collection of dead things

I love freaks of nature, and would love to adopt siamese twins

If you know who he is, one of my heroes is the Marquis de Sade, so...yeah...that's me

this has not even scratched the surface a little bit!

Thank you! I was raised to be polite, and it has stuck. I really appreciate that. Its hard to find young men like me around here now, it seems like most of them are turning into big piles of horse poop. One thing I must say, the reason Im such a good kid is my parents. I have the most amazing parents in the world. They arent super strict, but they've raised us well enough that they know that we will be good wherever we go. They do call us and check up on us, but my siblings and I have an awesome relationship with my parents. Most of my friends dont, and it really makes me appreciate everything my parents have done for me.

Depends who you ask I guess! If you ask the moms of my son's classmates, I live in the wrong town, drive the wrong car, have waaaaay too many animals (and outdoor animals period), work outside my home and am too old to be the mom of a 6 year old. I tend not to hang out with them much...
I play alto recorder in a church recorder group. I'm an adult acolyte and junior warden of our little Epsicopal church as well as co-chair person of our 175th anniversary celebration year.
I wanna llama just 'cause and some dairy goats. I'm going to be learning to fly a hovercraft this summer.
I enjoy working with middle school age children (most of the time and today is NOT one of those days.....)
I letterbox.
I'm making more and more of our food from scratch like many of you and loving doing it.
I prefer peanut butter and mayo sandwiches with the pickle on the side.
I've never been to Florida.
edited because my own misspellings and typos make me nuts!!!!
