Just wondering what these two adorable TSC little ones are; it's okay if it's too early to tell - but I'm thinking one is a Pekin -- with the lighter bill?

Just making a guess -- can anyone tell me what to expect? Shall I just wait a few weeks for feathering to happen?

Heckin heck I need to raise that brooder plate!

Thank you so much!! Adorable!!! :D

We got the last two in the bin and they seem so adventurous and really really want to go OUT of the pen haha
Awe, yeah I remember mine trying to hop out of the brooder lol. When it’s fairly warm out, say 70+°F, you could give them some supervised outdoor time. Give them a shallow water dish, too, and they’ll go nuts splashing and doing zoomies 🩷

Do I need to wait for them to feather out before letting them explore in water? I read somewhere that store bought chicks don't have the oil on their down bc no mama duck to give them some of hers.

Just want to err on the side of caution 🤓

Yes, if you use warm water, supervise them, and dry them off afterwards, they’ll be just fine! Mine quite liked this drip tray when they were little.
