What poultry would you get this new year?

I wish I could have Vulturine Guinea Fowl (they look so cool)

I'm hoping to add Porcelain D'uccle

I would like to add Egyptian geese. However, my American Buff girls' housing is too small for more geese. And, I don't know how the Buffs would feel about roommates anyway; they are the queens of the poultry yard.

I am probably going to add a couple of female runner ducks. Thanks to a negligent pet sitter, I lost a female this fall. The ratio of drakes to hens was already iffy. Without some new girls to catch their eyes, the boys will make life unpleasant for the remaining females.

Adding Australorps to replace the aging Buff Orpingtons. They tend to thrive better in our climate.

I don't suppose drakes would tolerate a "bachelor pen" scenario, either.

Australorps are great
Very classic

I cheated and got an Austra White (only option for Australorp or Leghorn I had, as they both are sold quickly) and she's a delight.

I will be adding Jubilee Orpingtons, Speckled Sussex, Blue Cochins, Salmon Faverolles, and BBS Orpingtons. And a new coop to house them.
