What predator did this?

We have NOT lost one chicken, duck, turkey to the numerous predators we have here that could VERY easily take a chick or young bird because of our Tibetan Mastiff male who has proven very reliable with any type of stock. Other TMs are too attracted to the noise, flapping and running of barnyard fowl to protect, rather, they chase/kill/eat them. So it takes a very special LGD mentality and fortunately we have one of those. We also have a grump (spayed) who does NOT like the predators ANY WHERE near the house, pastures etc., and will kill with one bite (fox and coyote).

Sometimes the skunks steal eggs or eat them but since running the dog through the barn where the skunks steal from, on a regular basis, letting him hike his leg, the skunks have not stolen/eaten any more eggs.

Best of luck but I would highly recommend getting a livestock guardian as a puppy from a breeder who knows how to select from a litter of puppies, a LGD potential.

I think it would be a fox. It could not have been a weasel they only eat the neck. It could have also been a hawk that carried it to a different place also. It sounds like a evil bugger that killed them.

Yes.

When they eat the llamas, they will be too full to bother the birds

You need traps or guard dogs
