Maybe there is more than one? I think it takes awhile for that to kick in. Not sure exactly how much it would take to properly start a system fail.

Our biggest nighttime problem is raccoon, then fishers.

Sorry to hear about your blue hen. I don't know how predators manage to pick the best ones to catch. I just lost a cute little bantam faverolle pullet to a hawk last Thursday. Now I have one lonely little roo.

Do you have a trap to catch whatever it is?

Cocktail is so potent that when I mixed in the coke...it smoked.
