what does the npip testing test for

Breeding/hatching my own chicks. Also maybe splitting my big run and putting in another coop.

We recently had a warm day so I threw the door onto my coop within the coop and moved the 3 pullets outside. They're now getting used to "real life". Totally cleared the coop out and laid new bedding. Dug out the run and put a load of sand in it. Husband decided he wanted the area prettier, so he started digging holes for fence posts and got all put one set. So I guess we're landscaping around the chicken house.

Also put gravel and a wrap around the fire pit area. Seating needs to be put in, something of an upgrade from the plastic chairs the dogs knock over during play.

Then the weather changed, and we're back to cold, plus rain, and it's actually supposed to keep on raining until it floods. That's Spring like, right? Hope it doesn't flood too bad.

While digging the fence posts, husband found our water table, we could have a well back there if this were in the country! I don't trust the ground water here.
