Hi all!
Just curious what the best feed for these breeds are..
They are all in individual pens, so I can feed them all to their specific needs. 😊 Some I’ve been told what to feed, but wanted to see what everybody else likes as well. Others I have no clue what to feed. 😆
Any and all advice given would be incredibly helpful! If possible, it would help to be specific what is best for chicks, hens, and roosters.
Thanks in advance!

I have a few of those breeds (adults) in my mixed flock and they all do well on a 20% protein with oyster shell separate. I feed chicks 24% percent for the first week or two and then lower it down to 20-22%.

Plenty of treats on the side, especially when the weather gets cold. Cracked corn, mealworms, tomatoes and scratch.

Thank you! If you don’t mind, which breeds do you have? 😊
I’ve heard most do well on 18-20% so I will definitely do that!
Thank you!

I use 20% Flock Raiser for all birds all year around.
I do give some scratch daily, roughly rationed to get to~18%.
Breed doesn't really matter.
Oyster Shell in separate feeders for the active layers.

If you are a serious breeder, might want to look into boosting nutrition when you separate your breeders for mating.

Thank you! What would be the best way to boost their nutrition? Are there vitamins or some kind of nutritional supplements I could give?
Thank you!
