What puts holes in my eggs?

About this time of year I get eggs with holes in them if I doesn’t gather fairly often. Is this because a a clumsy hen? Is this what an egg eater does or is this from another bird, like the magpies that live in the neighborhood? Ignore the other flattened egg... I have a couple of rescues who are now using a nesting box but are also laying soft shells.

Could be magpies, can they get into the nests?
More likely your own chickens eating the soft shelled eggs then moving on the the 'whole' ones. Was the one with the hole weak and thin shelled or strong and thick shelled?

The ones with the holes are strong good eggs but I also have two clumsy Jersey giants 😂 and wondered if it was from their toes. Magpies (related to the crow family) are smart Wiley beasts who wait for me to go into the house and then bother the chickens. I’ve never had an egg eater so I wasn’t sure if this is what they do, just peck and ruin, or if they actually eat the egg. Who ever did this left the other smashed shell in the box.
