I'm reading Frontier Wolf, by Rosemary Sutcliff. I enjoy her books, but this is (IMHO) one of her least well-written books. She used fragmented sentences is excess in the beginning, and the first chapter was very hard to follow. And the main character is very proud and haughty - too full of himself. But I'm reading it anyway... just because. LOL

To Kill a Mockingbird (for the umpteenth time) and the Isabelle Allende books (for the millionth time). I read the first Harry Potter when I was in kindergarten (about 4 or 5) so I've read a LOT of books

I am reading The Dark Material Triliogy "the Golden Compass"

I read the Golden Compass part. i have The Subtle Knife next then The Amber Spyglass. But from the end of the Golden Compass im afraid to start the Subtle Knife, I just too scared. But ill do it i swear. Then I have either the PeterPan books to start cause i can get through them so fast or im going to start the Twilight books. i havent decided. Besides i need another Peter Pan book before i start them.

I read the Dark Materials trilogy in the 5th grade-awesome! I've read every book he's ever written.
Right now I'm reading The Golden Ass (or The Metamorphoses) by Apuleius. It was written in the 2nd century AD & is the only complete Latin novel to survive from antiquity! It was translated just before Shakespeare's time & I'm reading that English translation. It's so interesting to see how much & little things have changed since then.

I read the pullman series back in middle school. it was pretty good, but I think I was a little young cuz I didn't get certain parts of it. I also read the new eragon book... and then reread it twice

I'm basically out of good books to read, since I've read all the good books at the school library and I don't get many chances to go to the public library.

suggestions, anyone? preferably fantasy.

Is this new? I managed to get his autograph back in the '70's I think it was.

Nov 2008 - relatively new. He is finding his groove with short stories again.
