They have a fair here once a year and after the rabbit show is over they sale ALOT of their bunnies! So I might get one from there!

Mrs. Fluffy Puffy :

I would preferr to have a smaller breed of bunny, I'm not sure if I can find Jersey woolies around here, but I really like them, though!
I'm kind of thinking about the Dutch, or maybe another Holland Lop, or maybe a lionhead bunny! My friend has a polish rabbit, and she is REALLY sweet! What about the Engilsh spot bunny, anybody have any of thoses? Do the lionheads need more care then other breeds?

If you're looking for a small, very calm rabbit, English Spots (or any of the arch/running breeds) probably aren't right for you. They are very smart, very active, very inquisitive and intelligent. They can be friendly and loving, but only if THEY are in the mood, and they'd usually rather go do their own thing.

Well, I just though they were kind of pretty! Do you think it would be a good idea to buy a rabbit from the fair?

I do as you would be able to talk to the breeder or at least to someone familiar with the breed and ask a lot of questions about care. I wasn't looking at the pet store for a bunny when I stumbled across SweetPea but fell in love, so bought him. They didn't know anything about the grooming.

uhhh my last bunny i had was very sweet. i was told she was an english spot bunny. towards the end of her life i was letting her run around my room with my ducks and she was hopping into bed with me and sleeping with me. but again i am not 100% sure whathe was. i rescued her from the open air swap meet

I tell ya whut...I was once the caretaker of this phat crib in za Napa Valley and they had a pet rabbit that was the sole survivor from back in the day when this estate used to raise meat rabbits.

He's an American Chinchilla (and a very lucky one at that) and he is just an awesome pet rabbit.

Well the breeder only has like big white bunnies, and that's not really what I want! But, they pet shop has the breeds I want, but there are other pets shops I guess!

Most jersey woolies don't really require a lot of grooming at all, but there are certain ones that do. You can usually tell the difference by touching it, but its difficult to explain. My jersey woolie's hair felt like very soft, thin hair, whereas some feel more like a thick wool.
