Currently I've got 11.. but we had kits and are selling, so really we have 4. I've had...
1 Checkered Giant ( mother of 11, 8 kits died, and she died)-Charlette
1 Champange d' Argent (Traded him for the checkered)-Charlie
2 Mini-Rex's ( I've got one left, the other one was to mean so we sold her, and the one we have left had a litter of 6) -Bunnie & Brownie
1 American Chinchilla (father of both litters) - Skittles
1 Broken Torte English Lop (Very sweet!) -Cuddles
I'm KEEPING...

Brownie- Chocolate Mini-Rex, pedigreed.
Mother of 6, very sweet!

Valerie- Chocolate Mini-Rex/American Chinchilla
The sweetest out of the 6!

Cuddles- Broken Torte English Lop
Loves to lick me, she's my sweety!

Pinky- Checkered Giant/American Chinchilla
Was one of the surviving three out of 11.... here's her story!

Charlette, my mother checkered giant had 11 babies, and she died when the kits were about 3 days old. My mom got me out of school that day, since I was crying... you guys know. Well, we needed to figure out what to do with the 11 kits, since we didn't want the other mother to be stressed if the 11 were with her 6. We were bottle feeding them, and we wanted to feed the skinniest first, so for a joke I got Pinky. She was the pinkest one, and I put her under the clothes and fur in the other box. After feeding them all, my mom and I went outside for a minute to tell my dad the news (We found someone who would foster the kits) and our dogs had found them. It was horrible- some kits were on the ground, it was a bloody mess.... and I was screaming and ran into my parents room, since the only things I had left of my Charlette were dead. We thought everyone had died- but something wiggled in the old clothes we put in the box. 5 kits were safe and sound, and Pinky was one of them! Since I had put Pinky and the others first under the clothes, they were okay. We brought the other mother in and everyone ate. We fostered the 5 kits out, and 2 had died (Didn't get enough milk, since the night before Charlette died, they didn't get fed) and when we got reunited with the three a couple months later, Pinky was the only girl out of the 3, and we knew it was her since she was almost ALL white. It's fate! :)

I have 3 bunnies!! They are just pets though, and mix breeds. Got them for free from a friend.

All three are Silver fox's crossed with Flemish Giants. I have 2 males and a female. they are 3 and a half months old I think. Females name is Blue Chocolate, male #1 is Swirl, and the other male has no name, cause I'm waiting on my brother to name it.

Here are my buns :) The white one is Clovis, my satin buck, The golden one is Buneary, aka Honeybun, a palomino doe, and the black one is Truffle, a satin/english spot cross doe. Miss Honeybun is the sweetest, but they are all sweet!

I want her! Her color is gorgeous!
Lol I still gotta figure out if its even a girl!!Though I think its a boy just because how sweet he is but thats just me wishing. I want to get him registered in the ARBA but Im still waiting on the breeder to send me his papers.

You don't have to register rabbits in ARBA. You don't even have to be a member to show. I have been attending ARBA shows for two years and just became a member this year. None of my rabbits are registered, and I find many breeders' aren't. But a Pedigree dies come in handy. I won't buy a rabbit without one.

To register a rabbit, you need:

To be a member of the ARBA
A rabbit that is at least 6 months old, has a legible ear number in its left ear, is within the size range specified for the breed, and is free of all other disqualifications
A complete 3 generation pedigree for the rabbit, with the color, breed, size and ear number of all of the rabbits on the pedigree
Registration fee (it's been a while, so I don't remember how much this is)

If you know someone locally that is a registrar, this gets easier. Otherwise, you probably need to take the rabbit to a show - the club holding the show is required to have someone there just to register rabbits (all judges are registrars, but not all registrars are judges). If your rabbit doesn't have a tattoo in its left ear yet, there may be someone at the show that will do that for you (for a small fee, usually). The registrar will probably have you fill out the pedigree part of the registration form, and check to make sure that your rabbit fits the breed standard. If your rabbit meets all the necessary criteria, he will put a tattoo in the right ear that looks a lot like this @. That is the only mark that should ever be found in the right ear of a rabbit in the U.S, anything else is a DQ. The registrar will send your paperwork off to the ARBA, which will send you your official registration certificate within a few weeks.

In a small breed like the Fuzzy Lop, it is not necessary that all of the animals on the pedigree be within the sizes listed on the breed standard (people often keep oversized does, referred to as "brood does"), but they all must be the same breed. If a Holland Lop has a Fuzzy Lop great-grandsire, for example, that Holland can't be registered.

I have had two rabbits. My first was an "otter" colored netherland dwarf named Ollie. Now i have a tan Lionhead named Scooter. My favorite breed though, is the Thrianta rabbit! i want one someday.

I love that there is a rabbit thread on BYC! chickens and rabbits are my favorite!

We have five unrelated Silver Fox rabbits (three does, two bucks) - we are so excited about our first litter due early July!! We have one blue buck who we hope to get more blues from.
One beloved Holland Lop and a wonderful Angora doe who is sweet as can be.

Azure bunny lounging. It's hot in Texas for buns.
