OMG - those babies are awesome. Really appreciate the feedback you both provide Primrose and Chocolate. Brings me back to the reality and reason I got into rabbits in the first place. I have trouble some times keeping balanced.

Well I read that they're kinda rare (I don't know if this is true or not... But I've never seen one where I live) but on craigslist I found her downstate and the breeder offered to meet us halfway. She has pedigrees and everything, but she is not for showing. I guess she could be shown though... I don't know. But she was $30. Her brother sold really quickly also.

I saw them for the first time at the MO state fair this last July. The guy had 5 or 6. I could have bought one then but he wasn't selling the one I wanted. He was from OK. Very nice guy. There is a website for the breed too.
Someday I'll get mine!

I thought about getting into Dwarf Hotots, I think their really adorable. A friend of mine breeds them in my city though so I don't want to become her competition. I've seen them mixed with Lionheads to get the black eyeband with white body color, it's actually very cute.

I'm beginning to think the same about the Mini Satin, that they're very popular yet and not a lot of people have them. I haven't been able to find many people within reasonable distance from me. And as a matter of fact, this little buck's pedigree is only made up of 3 rabbitries, one of which I can't even find online. Anyone here know of anybody in the New England area who raises this breed?
