I had a REW Flemish. No one liked the babies he had like that so I sold him and his REW kids.

The only reason they creep me out a little is because of watching Pet Cemetery 2 as a kid!

YES, that's why when my husband told me he wanted to raise meat rabbits I told them it had to be the REW NZ's/
Now that we have them, I am totally attached to them & think they are cute!!!
So plan backfired
We're going to end up with like 30 pet rabbits and no meat for winter, I know it! haha

Hello, 2nd posting in rabbit forum. Ive got a handsome male rabbit we bought here almost 2 yrs ago. I will try to attach a photo but for some reason at times I can only post in my album. Anyways im looking into trying to find out more about him. Breed, adult size and suitability as meat. I got him at the market here and most are sold as food. He had no clue how lucky he was the day we found him. We named him Mere as in "come mere" my daughter's play on accents. Now that hes a whopping 2 kilos and solid boy we thought about finding him a lovely lady. First I want young so I can insure health and vaccination papers and second so she is tame since we try to use our animals to educatecon proper care of animals to kids a somewhat unheard of thing here . Any help the forum can give me will be appreciated. Thanks. We are considering mating for sale of stock for meat supply to locals. We dont eat rabbits lol.
