Quick question: I have two NZX does. Both are from the same litter (if that's what you call it) One is begining to get that little roll of fur under her chin. it's quite noticeable now. The other is not. Does that mean one is just maturing quicker than the other?

That roll of skin is called a "dewlap" it can be an indication that the rabbit is ready, or mature enough to breed.
Our females tend to get their dewlaps before our males do, so maybe that's why one of yours doesn't have a dewlap yet.
 
I keep pots of geraniums and basil on my balcony, u can also grow marigolds, and citronella plants around your yard. Look online for natural insect repellant plants and your local plant shop can help. I think height has a lot to do with it but oddly my daughter gets bites on our rooftop next floor up when she is up late with her dog training. Lemongrass is another one and you can make great teas with the leaves!
