Oh we're just not on here much. We east TN folks are just shy. Lol
Yes there are buns and chickens here.
And welcome to God's country - most wonderful place on earth. I wouldn't choose to live anywhere else.
So far I have to agree with you. South Carolina was nice but I really like it here so far. The place I found is in a valley. Off the front porch you have the mountains right across the street. What a view to relax to every night after tending everything during the day. Going to look forward to that!!

When I lived there I made a vow that I would NEVER allow myself to become complacent about the beauty. Every single day when I looked at the mountains, valleys, coves, I would look at them with the same wonder of seeing them for the first time. I didn't know I'd end up in Baton Rouge and I am glad that I can carry East Tennessee in my heart and mind's eye forever.

I'm the same way. When driving here from Sc going through the mountains on I26 was hard. I'm 51 and will never get over the beauty of the mountains.

My best friend lives in Greenville SC so I made the trip many times. Sometimes we would meet in Asheville. So beautiful.
Yea, I lived 45 mins from Greenville. They had a feed mill just past there were I bought my chicken feed. 3 hours round trip just for feed. But was well worth it. Pure grain. Was the best stuff in the world. Wish there was one around here. Even thought of starting one. Maybe, one day. LOL

I am so jealous. Use your thoughts to transfer a little Knoxville to me. You are living my dream.

Thanks. I thought banana leaves could be fed like grass. I give them treats twice a day. Like 1/12 of an apple or 2" piece of mini carrot. They get pellets and unlimited high quality Timothy hay. Just hoping they could eat a lot of banana leaves, but I'll keep it a treat. They love black berry branches that I give them off old branches.

Last night I processed palominos peppers and sure enough the rabbits devoured them and begged for more Bet they had heart burn.
