I use Purina Show chow. Their are different formulas, but of you raise show rabbits, Show is the best. It is about 20 dollars, but may be a dollar or two more. I don't know what your local pricing is though.

I believe hay is always necessary, for it provides the rough strands that break down food. Without it, your rabbit could get GI stasis which is a pain in the butt to get rid of, and normally can cause death in your rabbit.

I know, but one of my rabbits who didn't like hay very much got GI Stasis and it was a huge pain! We had to give her medicine through a syringe (no needle) three times a day. Ugh. By time most people notice a problem, the rabbit is on its death bed and dies within a day. That's what happened to my friend's rabbit. It sucks and I will never take any risks.

I heard that it was too greasy. Do you think so? I'm using Purina Complete right now

I dont know what type of bunnies i have. they were rescued from stupid people who were done with bunnies and left them under a porch to rot in the hutch. Poor bunnies. THey found a wonderful home with us though. Both are female Can you tell me the breed? Can kits of whatever these are be used for meat?
