BunnyLady ~ do you know what the color could be of my little unmarked kit if the buck was a chin and doe is harlequin? These are my three that will be a mystery until their fur coloring comes in a little more. But you mentioned how the two on the right might be magpie because of their markings and parents. The one on the left has not a single mark on it, leaving me to wonder if it's really going to be white??




I was just looking at these photos and then went back to the photos I posted yesterday when they were born and what a difference one day makes! I think I'm going to create an album and do a photo-a-day type of thing with these buns.

The little peanut died on day 4. It was the same size as when it was born. You guys really helped me understand it and that I really couldn't save it. Thanks again. The remaining kit seems to be doing well and growing. If the mom rejects it now (she hasn't yet) I will stand ready to hand feed it.

sorry you had to go through that, it is never fun having an animal fated to die like that. hopefully everything else will go smoothly and you will have a nice, healthy bunny for several years.
