THIS IS MY FIRST LITTER OF BUNNIES AND THEY ARE MINI REX'S THAT ARE 2 WEEKS OLD TODAY!!!!!!!

I would have loved to have grown up around you.

I used to use our children as the excuse for bringing animals into the house.
Now am trying to use our grandson. My husband doesn't want anymore indoor pets
so that's how I got our chickens. He didn't have a response for that one

After reading this thread, I asked our grandson if he would like a bunny. His response was
no because he got scratched by one. My DH heard that.

I'll come up with another idea when the weather cools
down around here. 107 degrees today. Just too warm for a domestic bunny this time of year.
I'll just live vicariously through all of you for now.

We use crock pots set on low for winter waterers. You can get them fairly cheap at Goodwill or yard sales.

My mother rabbit would dump her bowl of pellets, just immediately take it into her mouth and dump it. So after she didn't have the babies any more I tried again today. She dumped it right away. She obviously is not going to allow anything loose on her hutch. Lol

Salt and pepper, I agree with whoever it was who suggested that your bunny might be part Britannia Petite - she seems to have a fairly "racy" body type like the BP's do.
Congrats on your litter! They are cute, but they aren't Mini Rex - the hair is already too long for that breed.

the mama is mini rex and i have a pic of her and i have a pic of the dad and he is not sure but the mom i know for a fact is. i have had her in show so i know she is.

Yea it looks like the mom is def a rex, but the dad...No. So that would explain the babies coat.
