Does anyone know if a doe can have a protrusion that makes her look kind of like a buck but without testes? I've been thinking she was a he but just figured out it was a she :idunno ... So if it is a female would it be safe to breed her?...

Hmmm I knew of a rabbit who was actually born with both testicles and a vagunal area...!!
She ended up impregnating herself.

I'm sure this isn't the case as it is so so rare but similar symptoms that led them to get her checked to what you're asking - worth me mentioning maybe!

How large are mini velvets? My rabbit has really grown, and is now near four pounds!! When will she be done growing? ( she's six months ) Also, I'll be building her an outdoor hutch soon ( yay! ) And was wondering if wood would be better than wire for the floor? I've heard that wire isn't good for their paws, but I'm not sure how true this is, thanks!
At six months, smaller breeds are considered full grown.

All of my rabbits have wire-floored cages. Some of my Mini Rex do have issues with the wire (Rex-coated rabbits frequently have thinner fur on the bottoms of their feet). I use a large ceramic floor tile as a sitting board on their cages. It gives their feet a break from the wire, and is easily removed for cleaning.

Hey salt & pepper :) You've done the right thing by asking about the wiring before doing it!! Wire bottom is AWFUL for poor bunnies wee paws. They can get horrendously infected and their pads wear away. Please please don't do it! Wood will be fine but bare in mind it must be treated to ensure no pesticides. Below are some examples of what wiring can do to paws just to back me up, and also some examples of really good outdoor hutches and runs. If you do choose to keep your bunny outdoors (they are great indoor pets and can be litter trained like cats and come when you call etc) - please remember the problems that could occur with predators - I'm not sure where you live but lots of people I know have experienced awful tragedy with hawks swooping down etc. Good luck :) Poor bun :( Most cages sold in pet stores are too small for a rabbit to be healthy and happy. A rabbit should have an enclosure that’s at least 3 hops wide, 2 hops deep and tall enough for the bunny to sit up on his back legs. Measuring like this ensures that no matter the size of the rabbit, the cage is suitable! Thanks for the advice! Right now the rabbit is inside in an X large dog crate,it's twice as tall, five hops wide, and three deep, it also gets to run around for at least an hour a day. It is litter trained..... sometimes, but I'm having to clean the little box three+ times a day, just to make sure that she uses it. That, and the area that's she's in right now isn't finished, but will be really soon, and if she was to stay inside, she would need an anesthetic pleasing enclosure. I'll make sure not to do wire now, I live in North GA, and we do have hawks, coyotes, foxes, raccoons, possums, dogs, cats, snakes, crows, and skunks, surprisingly, haven't lost any of my birds yet, but it might be my three 100+ lbs dogs who keep them at bay.

The dog crates are great for indoor use yeah! We used it while litter training.

If your bunny is super super clean and picky about pooping in a messy litter tray-you might find that a change of litter will help? Certain litters do not absorb the urine and that's what they seem to hate, in my experience! We use wood pellets for them and they only need changed daily.
Also just put one handful of hay in the litter tray at a time for them to munch while pooping. Too much hay in there at once is just an invitation for the bunny to redecorate your house with hay....!
You can easily pop another handful in when the remaining hay is down with the litter :)

If you've any more q's let me know - I'm ok here as I am duck-clueless but I am a bunny mad woman!

Remember your bun will try dig out unless the sides of their hut are attached to the base :)

Does' vulvas can be somewhat differently shaped; some do protrude a bit more than others. There is also a problem with bucks having a split penis - a lot of the rabbits that we joke about changing sexes are actually badly split bucks (obviously, these guys do have testes).
