Hello!

I am new owner of a Champagne d'Argent buck and searching for more does for him. I mainly want meat, fur (for reenacting friends) and donate/sell young rabbits to 4H/FFA to get a good start.

I got to keep on reading. The feed systems throw me off (I used to have rabbits) and I'm getting different feedbacks on feeding rabbits. See my post I've started.

Also I found Creme d'Argents as another color breed. A friend has a Chin/Creme d' Argent and the doe was so lovely, chinchilla color with brown points. Not sure what you would call it but she is definately out of parents of pure Champagne d'Argents breed but in different color.

Glad to meet you all in here. It's a first adventure solo having rabbits without my Dad and sister getting involved.

I love your bunnies!!

Two rabbits in the same space at the same time will have to sort out dominance issues. Depending on the rabbits, it may be just a scuffle, or it may be a bloody battle, but they will make contact.

I have two does in the same hutch. They were from the same litter and right now are about 5/6 months old. They've been doing fine; grooming each other, eating together etc. They haven't had any problems. Do you think they'll be fine? Or should I start putting together another hutch?

In my opinion, you should always have a back up hutch so your not left scrabbling to put one together if something happens.
What breed are your girls? For smaller rabbits, they will be hitting sexual maturity at this age, this is when things begin to change if they're going to.
