Yay!!, I bought a harness for my bunnies yesterday. Have any of y'all had any experience with those?

My rabbit walks well with his harness. I had to get a step in dog harness. He's a big rabbit and hasnt got out of it yet. I started him in a harness when he was a baby

Well sure I'd love to show off my babies :) ! Haha

Here is Autumn, my Holland Doe. She's a little big overall for the breeding program, but she's a sweetie so we kept her:)

Aspen! Holland Buck. He's my little boy. You can carry him around like a baby
He LOVES people, and cuddling
He's one of my soon to be breeding/show bucks, still too young though :)

Has any of y'all Holland Lop or Netherland Dwarf people know of Garret and Mary Justice?, Garret does Netherland Dwarfs and Mary does Holland Lops. Just seeing if anybody knows who i'm talking about.

Few questions.... I want to build my rabbits a cage in my chicken coop. They will have their own run also. I'm wondering can I build the cages up high @ 4-5ft Will they be able to get to the ground of their run with ramps?

Umm, I'm sure they could but I wouldn't. I'd be scared that when they'd be on the ramp that they would get spooked and fall of it.

I would personally be a little nervous about it, but if you would , I would make the ramp fairly wide with boards on the sides also so that they can not jump off by accident and hurt themselves. Just an idea. it may look a little funny but, that'd probably be the safest way if you were to do that.

That is just how I would do it. Like a marble track. Ramp with walls. If you wanna get really clever you could put wide square wire like 2"X4" wire over it in a hoop shape and make like a tunnel. It'd be pretty cool and if outdoors they could then be covered with cheap tarps and zipties. And zero percent risk of fall damage and predator proof.

Our rabbits have been visiting the chicken tractor and eating the layer feed. I was concerned about them getting too much calcium from that feed so I closed the lower door to the tractor and opened a door up top that is about 3 1/2 feet from the ground. (with no ramp) I opened the upper door the other day and saw bunny berries inside. I thought they were left from before when the rabbits would enter from the ground and walk up the ramp. Was so proud of figuring out a simple solution. BUT... I saw one of the bunnies jump from the ground, use the hardware cloth, which covers the bottom of the tractor, as a bounce platform and end up in the upper level of the tractor. So much for my fix on keeping the bunnies out of the layer feed. I knew the chickens could jump up and get in but had no idea the bunnies would do it. I am learning just how clever these critters are.

Oh, that would be awesome. It would be like a little covered bridge for the bunnies.
