I also got my bunny from Rural King... I am a little uneducated about how to tell if it's a boy or girl... and I have no idea what kind he is (I think it's a boy). Help?

Well it looks pretty young, how old is it?

If it's old enough then you will know if it's a male if you know what I mean

. If it is not fixed and it is sexually mature then it will have testicles. If it is to young to have testicles then you have to look at the vulva.

There is a way to sex young rabbits,but it is pretty difficult and even the pros get it wrong sometimes. It looks very young. Your best bet is to wait a few months and see if it has testicles or not. Cute bunny though. What breed?

ALL OUR BUNNIES WERE FREE RANGING ,but 2 have gone missing ,we think they ran away.? out under the front gates, and out near the coyotes , so she is the only bunny left . she is 2 years old, i hand fed her goats milk for weeks ,as she was not doing well after birth, we are glad she has stayed around, she comes to visit us every day around 5: pm she lives under the hen house and is a bit dirty from living under the coop she hangs out with the chickens , our rooster is a big tough guy, so its good he is fine around the bunny & the cat, the bunny sleeps with our cat named spot near the rose bush each night, both are black & white , we tried to get pics of them both together tonight, but the cat left....lol.... so here is our bunny, thats her name is Bunny, we rescued her mother and the next day she had 8 bunnies on my kitchen floor :/ .

This is my 6 year old New Zealand rabbit named Lilly

She's adorable. The red eyes used to freak me out but some of my friendliest have the red eyes. Have fun.

Spent hours today outside cleaning and moving cages. Our triple digit temps are coming soon so we had to put another plan in place. Last year, our two large does came in the house. (less than desirable). Towards the end of the summer, our buck was purchased from a breeder who kept his herd outside. The buck did fine with frozen water bottles and shade. This year, we have 5 does and 2 bucks. (bunny math

) No room in the house for that many. Two of the does I would like to sell. DH wants to keep the 2nd buck. (he didn't even want rabbits to begin with) DH set up an evaporative cooler with a fan which I think is going to work just great (our summers are quite dry) for the area we have them in now. Our rabbits have made it just fine well into the 90's with frozen water bottles and shade. I went to put my last doe away tonight (she's in an exercise pen) She came after me twice. She will be sleeping in the exercise pen tonight. She has such an attitude but had a nice size litter this year and took great care of them so I hate to get rid of her. Besides, DH is attached to her too . Funny how these critters grow on us.

All they are is dog cages with wire put on them very east to reconstruct and clean
