Maybe Shrew? They eat pretty much anything, or critters they can find.

I'm in Maine, but the other day my Mom found a piece of scalely skin in her clothes.
She says whatever it is, it's been pulling stuff out of the bathroom trashes, and pulled out a bunch of stuff from under the fridge.
