The point being is the breed of this dead chicken..it's a MUTT..who cares if it is in Mexico. Doesn't automatically make it a gamecock for pete's sake...and who care's that you people aren't educated enough about gamefowl to make a logical or rational statement to the fact..that's where i'll leave that. The chicken in the picture is simply a MUTT with some long spurs..good grief!

the article i found him in said he was indeed a fighting cock. and i have with my own eyes seen a roo take on a fox. the foxes here aren't very bold when it comes to other animals. im beginning to feel that alot of people don't like me because it seems every time i post a question or comment i get people get flaming mad over my ideas and beliefs. I AM SILL GETTING ONE AS A FLOCK GUARIDAN, BECAUSE I THINK ITS A GOOD IDEA, NOT BECAUSE ANYONE ELSE DOES

a beginner, yes. but i am not the one mounting this bird. i found it on a thread and wanted to let the person know that there are no illigal breeds (i knew that before i posted this) and to tell them what breed it might be to prove a point.

nah, i'm not mounting this bird, i found it on the net. and yeah i know it's illigal but this photo was taken somewhere in mexico? can't remember but it wasn't in the US.

as i said before, the article said the bird was used for fighting, and that's how the poor boy lost his life. in cockfights, both birds usually die, but the first one killed is the loser. that's why he was stuffed, he was the winner. he does look like a mutt, that's what i thought at first. i just wanted to know for sure becayse he's got such pretty color.

The best i can tell this is a cross bred chicken looks like between a game dom or grey and maybe a hatch or roundhead type of chicken since it is pea comb cant really tell if you could post a whole picture of the back so we can get a full color and far as fighting chickens in the usa it is not illegal in all states and game chickens is not forced to fight if you buy two roosters you will find that out on your own games are some of the prettiest chickens on earth because they always look proud and cocky

Ill disagree on they dont make good flock guardians. My American game roo makes a very good flock protector. Ive seen him whip a few dogs and cats before. So you cant tell me they dont. Now a fox on the other hand, if you have a chicken that can whip a fox then youve got your self something. He does look like a mix of some kind.
Oh and China Chicks, there is no need in being so rude when posting.

China is probably the most informationative (i know its spelled wrong... or it may not be. i don't know) person there is in chickens, And one of the nicest... I've never known her to lie and theres plenty of people who will tell you the same,

PS... i also think he was a mutt, just doesn't have the game look to me.
