What room do you set your bator up in???

We had ours on the kitchen table at first, but my husband got tired of it being there so I made room for them in the extra bedroom. I know the table wasn't the best place for them, but it helped me keep an eye on the temp. and humidity because I walk past it so many times every day.

There is no place in our home that doesn't fluctuate in temps.... unless I were to put it in our bedroom closet, or a bathroom closet. The last two times we used it was on our south Family room wall. There are two AC/Heater vents that empty just above it and a window about 8 feet to the East of it.

I've got to figure a way to get the temp at 99.5 because the last two hatches were early and I'm thinking it was over 100 both times.

No, you are not! I keep mine downstairs as well, the basement is finished with living quarters down there and a 2 car garage on one side and a 1 car garage on the other side. I keep the incubators in the bedroom down there, no windows, more stable temps and the humidity level is great!

I have mine on a cabinet in the front room. It's like an extra living room, but we really don't use it for much. The a/c doesn't run in there, so it's the best place.

It's also the room I keep my brooder in.

I have an indoor/outdoor wireless thermometer. I put the remote unit inside the bator, and keep the display on my desk net to my computer monitor.

I just hatched yesterday, and moved my little babies to the brooder today.

DH hasn't noticed yet, but I just now snuck outside and collected 14 new eggs & stuck them in the bator!

At this rate, I will hatch all year long!
