WHAT??! rooster sings??

My two roos sing the egg song too. The whole lot of 'em make such a racket! And the Alpha RUNS over to the coop to check! I need to remember to bring my cell phone out with me-I want it as my new ringtone LOL!

My chickens started laying a month ago, and when they started using the nest boxes at least 5 chickens including the roo would gather round and watch and sing the egg song. I wish I would have videotaped it.It was so cute, but now they just go about their way.

My rooster does this "egg song" when I am chasing ghe other rooster off my porch with a broom so I call it the Oh No you better run song.

If my roos ar ein the coop when a hen is singing, they join in with her as do the other hens. with 30 chickens, it gets pretty loud!
