I’ve got 2 chicks both about 2 weeks old, the yellow/white one is an
Austra white and the brown is a
welsummer x isa brown. The Austra white is bigger than the other and has thicker and larger legs and feet than my welsummer and for the week I’ve had them I’ve noticed that the Austria’s comb as gotten a bit bigger and the welsummer’s has stayed the same. Also the Austria’s feet and beak are bright orange. In the last pic you can see the size difference in the legs and feet of both of them. It may just be that they are different breeds but I have a feeling that the Austra is a roo and the welsummer is a hen. And ideas?
