What sex is my frizzle?

Still a pullet, IMO.
I'd be expecting a lot more comb from a male.

Looking at other pictures, I still think she might be a hen... hoping she’s a hen. We shall see!

Not very familiar with frizzle, but they seem to get combing relatively early.

This is one of those cases where the bird doesn't conform to "the usual".

Typically for a bantam Cochin pullet at this age (9 weeks), there should still be no red and the wattles should be almost non existing.

On the other hand, a 9 week old cockerel should have a larger comb and slightly larger wattles.

I will say late blooming cockerel and hope I am wrong.

Just for reference, both of the bantam Cochins below are 12 weeks. Notice the lack of color and development in both comb and wattles.

Oh yes, very different! Is this one of those cases where I just need to wait for a crow or egg?

Update us again. 12 weeks is a good time.

I dont think you'll have to wait quite so long as to hear a crow or see an egg. Let's look at some updated pics in a couple weeks.
