I would have guessed that they didn't foam. I dont vent sex so I dont know to much about it.

Well I suppose the only way to know for sure is in 14 days from now ,when the eggs in the 'bator I got from this pair are supposed to hatch

i guess you could always go by how many eggs a day you got, that is if you KNOW the other is a female. Of course, even if that one was a female, might not be laying.

but yea if they hatch, then you got yourself a mate.
