I have a hard time sexing blue faced tuxedo buttons. I think its a male ,but I want your opinions

The Splashes and some tuxedos have the red vents. If your tuxedo doesn't have any coloring around the vent I would say hen.

No red coloring around the vent ,however "he" is smaller then my other hens and does have a very strong crow/contact call ,compaired to the hens.

He's a blue face ,so he shouldnt have a red vent ,right ??

Ya ,but venting them is no fun

They struggle and spaz worse then a coturnix.

I did flip him to see his belly and I think I saw foam...

I haven't had buttons give out foam. They are not coturnix so the foam is not an indicator. I looked in my breeder pens, some of my blue face tux males have red vents, others do not. If your cbbq is slimmer and crowing, it's a boy. The vent is smaller than a laying hen which looks more open.
