These are Ameraucana chicks a few days under 3 months.

Lavender Splash Cockerel? Lavender pullet? Blue cockerel?

Same group of chicks, Lavender Splash pullet on the left? And the same Lavender Splash cockerel as above on the right? The bird on the right has either molted some feathers from his tail or they have been pulled out by a very bad dog.

How old are they?

I see 3 cockerels in the first picture. Splash in front, blue wheaten colored one back by the fence and blue on the far right.

They were just a few days shy of three months. I was wondering about the three in front. I thought the splash on the left and the blue on the right were cockerels, with a lavender pullet in the middle. I was hoping the splash would turn out to be a pullet, but I think I was more into denial than hope. There is another picture of my two splash lavenders together (with a wheaten cockerel in the background). Do you think the very light one on the left is a pullet?

X2, the lavender is a pullet

Lavender is a pullet. I can't see the light splash well enough, but looks like a pullet.

Also, keep them a few more weeks. Around 13 weeks, you will start seeing the saddle feathers coming in to confirm cockerels. Part the feathers at the base of the tail. If you see very shiny, pointy feathers coming in, the they are 100% boys.
