What should I be expecting from my 6 mo old Guineas?

It just occured to me my Guineas have grown up on us so quickly. That said, I have no idea what to even expect from them now. (My husband implusively bought them at a flock swap for our kids because they were so cute. Little did he know....)
We have 1 male and 1 female. Um...am I going to have baby guineas soon? Are guinea hens good mamas? Is Roger our male guinea going to go and knock up my laying hens?
Sorry if these are stupid questions, but I have no clue!

Hi there - do your guineas free range? If the female disappears, she'll likely be sitting on a nest somewhere, if she has started laying eggs - and guineas are totally hopeless mothers. Don't think you need to worry about Roger knocking up your hens!
