Peanuts aren't entirely okay for ducks it would be like u eating chocolate chips everyday, peanuts are full of fats, they are healthy fats to people but birds can't have a lot of fats

That makes sense, but the person that was telling me the difference between corn and peanuts as a supplemental high calorie feed in the winter - is that peanuts have more nutrients than corn. Do you think that is the case? Just feed a smaller ration of nuts than corn, or wuold you think that corn would be a better bedtime snack than peanuts in the winter?

Feed them corn I would only feed peanuts to an adopted duck that was extremely under weight

I add a little dry cat kibble, and sprouted wheat for treats in winter.
