what should I clean her with?

her feathers beneath her bum are all caked with poop since she's been sick. I'd like to try and clean her up. what can I use to get the poop out?

You'll need to get a warm wet cloth and hold it on her to allow the water to soften the stool. It comes off pretty easy once wet. If she'll allow it, you can soak her bottom in a shallow tub of warm water. I get my hands in there and gently work it off, trying not to pull on her feathers.
