Another possibility is to put mesh over the whole nesting box and put a small waterer and feeder inside so that she has no reason to go anywhere. That way the babies wouldn't fall out.

Someone else might know a good reason why this is a bad idea...just a suggestion.

I tried moving her last night around midnight, with the use of a very plae light....she was still very mean. I didn't succeed nonetheless. Today is day 18...I might have to get my dh to help me tonight. The nesting box she is in is too small to put a waterer and feeder in with her. It is just big enough to hold her. I was too nervous with her last night. She really pecks hard,and I was wearing winter gloves...well padded. I'm going to try to take a pic and put it on here....so this message might get edited.
