Hello, Have not been on in a while but when I saw my poor Nibbles eye today I went here as fast as I could. He is acting as like his usual self and eating and drinking fine but one side of his face were is eye use to be is swollen and the caruncles have a yellowish look to them and I am pretty sure his eye is missing!I really don't know what to do I have blue-kote should I cover his eye with that?

You might get a faster response if you put this in the emergency section.

There was a post recently about a rooster who was attacked by a raccoon. The owner thought his eye was gone, but it turns out that it was only injured. The area was just so swollen and nasty that it looked like it was gone. That could be the case with your duck!

Stormy Autumn you're talking about my boy. Here are his posts: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=512448 and https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=528182

I
separated him and treated him with Penicillin to help prevent infection. A person on the first thread links to very good instruction on how to do so. I hope your boy will be okay
