What should I do? Starter, grower, or something else?

I've been feeding Nutrena chick starter and have been happy with it. Birds are healthy and feathered out early. The problem is that the store only carries the starter, but no grower. Haven't been able to find the grower in my area. The bag says to switch over to grower at 6 weeks, but my birds are now 10 weeks old. Since I couldn't find the grower I've continued to feed the starter. BUT my understanding is that they need lower amounts of protein. How will it affect them if I continue to feed the starter?

I'd like to try Kent brand (Blue Seal) but I don't want to give them medicated chick starter/grower when they haven't been on it. Is there something else in the Kent line that would work? I know I've read about people giving their birds Gamebird or something like that.

So confusing.

Some brands have the starter/grower combined (like Kent), others have it separated (like Nutrena).

Any help would be appreciated; I just want to do what's healthy for my girls.
